The All-New Storm Adventure Race!

Greetings! And Welcome to the new Storm Adventure Race (previously known as Storm The Trent). As with many of you I was lamenting the loss to the Ontario AR community when Sean announced 2022 would be the last year for Storm The Trent, so we got to chatting and he graciously offered to allow me to take over the reigns. This will be no small feat as living up to the high standards of organization and execution Sean has set will be a challenge, but I'll do my best to provide an equally well organized and equally adventurous event as you've all come to expect. I'm not planning any major changes to event formats, difficulties or distances, but I do hope to introduce racers to some new areas you may not have explored in the past. A huge thank-you needs to go out to Sean for introducing thousands and thousands to the sport of adventuring racing and always providing top-level organization, logistics and adventure! The Storm Adventure Race is the nation's largest and most inclusive adventure racing weekend. Three separate events are offered to provide the widest possible range of race options; including the beginner-friendly Short-Course, the intermediate-level Long Course, as well as the advanced-level, well Advanced Course.

Through a unique blending of adventure elements and traditional multi-sport, Storm offers first-time racers the opportunity to test the waters of adventure racing, while also providing experienced teams with challenging racecourse designs. Since 2002, the goal has been to create custom-built adventure experiences to suit absolute beginners, seasoned endurance racers, and anyone in between!
