The 2024 venue has been confirmed at Island Lake Conservation Area near Orangeville, Ontario! Thanks to all who took the time to fill out the post race survey this past spring. If you missed filling out the survey and would still like to provide feedback, please feel free as we're still reviewing responses. Results from the survey can be seen at this link. Due to the survey results we'll be keeping the event in late May (May 25th, 2024) and are seeking venues within 1-2 hours of the GTA. We also saw a reduction in participation from previous years so we'll condense the event to a single day as setting up for 2 days is much more challenging from a staffing and volunteer perspective. We expect to have the event-day schedule posted here in the coming weeks. Registration is now open with early fees available until January 11, 2024.
Teams are offered the choice of 3 entirely separate events, featuring 3 levels of difficulty:
The original beginner-level adventure event! The Short course combines scenic hiking/running on groomed trails, easy-to-moderate level mountain biking on off-road and backroad routes, and gentle flatwater paddling. No advanced navigational skills are required…
A challenging but fun level of racing requiring only basic navigational skills. The Long course features running, riding and paddling sections that put racers to the test without putting them over the edge. Perfect for both seasoned racers and eager first-timers…
The Advanced Course provides racers with a challenging course design combined with elements of strategy and route-finding. It will consist of numerous stages across roughly 75km of racecourse; featuring marked routes that are interspersed with navigation sections…
